Linocut Workshop

Learn the art of block printing with me. Open to beginners and printmakers of all levels. We will spend the workshop drawing a design, tracing and transferring to our block and carving. Once carved we will ink and print. Two hours is not a ton of time to complete a full print, so it is best to come with a drawing or design in mind of physically. If you need more time to carve and print you are more than welcome to come back a following week. Carved blocks and prints are yours to take home and print as you wish after the workshop. I will have some simple designs you can pick from if you just want to carve and print without drawing up an idea.

Fees include the tools needed to carve and print, your linoblock and paper to print on. Carving tools are only to be borrowed for the session. If interested in purchasing I will include a material list!

We will be carving 4x6” blocks of speedycarve rubber which can be printed with block printing ink and ink pads.

This workshop is open for ages 15+. No one under 18 permitted without an adult.
